For more than 200 years, treasure hunters have been digging into a small patch of ground on Oak Island, Nova Scotia, chasing the promise of buried riches. What started with a depression in the earth beneath an oak tree has spiralled into generations of obsession: pirate loot, Templar relics, Shakespeare’s manuscripts, or maybe just a very elaborate sinkhole.

In this episode we dig (pun intended) into the Oak Island Money Pit — the strange engineering, the endless theories, the six lives already lost to the so-called “curse,” and why people keep pouring money into a hole that never gives anything back. We also get distracted by the usual nonsense because of course we do.
